Principal's Statement

Hello Razorback Family,

We are excited to start our first full week of instruction at Cross Creek High School. I am Dr. David Yancey, your Principal, and I wanted to give you a glimpse into who I am and what we stand for at Cross Creek High School.

I am blessed to have the opportunity to lead Cross Creek High School for the 2026-2027 School year. I am entering my 18th year of education with 7 years as an administrator. I am passionate about three major things: Rapport, Reason, and Results. I have always been someone who understands the benefits of connecting with people (Students, Staff, and the Community) and creating a space where stakeholders feel safe. I also have a passion for logic and making effective decisions to do what is best for people. Throughout my years in education, when you marry reason and rapport, the result is positive. This does not mean everyone will be happy with every decision, but they will understand there are reasons behind them.
